A total of five governors have been appointed by President Kovind on Sunday.
Himachal Pradesh Governor Kalraj Mishra was transferred and appointed as Governor of Rajasthan by President Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday. Mishra will replace Kalyan Singh as the Governor of Rajasthan.
Kalraj Mishra has replaced Kalyan Singh as the Governor of Rajasthan. Meanwhile, there is former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya who takes over Mishra’s role as the Governor of Himachal.

Tamil Nadu BJP President Dr. Tamilisai Soundarajan has been appointed Governor of Telangana in place of ESL Narasimhan.
Bhagat Singh Koshyari has been appointed as the new Governor of Maharashtra. Koshiyari will replace Vidyasagar Rao.
Arif Mohammad Khan has been appointed as the Governor of Kerala in place of P. Sathasivam. Khan had earlier left the Rajiv Gandhi government in the Shah Bano case and was cited several times by the BJP in the triple talaq debate. He has also supported the government on the move of Section 370.
