Maulana Masood Azhar is the head of the organization jaish-e-Mohammed. This same Jaish-e-Mohammad organization took responsibility for the terrorist attack in India’s Pulwama, in which more than forty of our jawans were martyred. Later, the IAF claimed to have destroyed the terrorist camp of Jaish-e-Mohammad by air strikes in Balakot, Pakistan. Masood Azhar was also accused of having terror attacks in Pathankot.
Media sources are getting information that Masood Azhar, who has already been admitted in a hospital in Islamabad, dead although it is neither confirmed by the Pakistani authorities nor the Indian.
This is the same Maulana Masood Azhar, who was released 17 years ago by the Indian in the Kandahar aircraft hijack case in 1999.
It is known that on December 24, 1999, five armed terrorists kidnapped Indian Airlines IC-814 with 178 passengers. The terrorists of Harkat-ul-Mujahideen had in exchange for the death of 178 passengers in front of the Indian government, in exchange for the release of their three terrorists. One of those three terrorists was Masood Azhar.
In 1999, the Vajpayee government decided to release three terrorists including Masood Azhar to save the lives of the passengers. At that time Maulana Masood Azhar was a member of the terrorist organization Harkat-ul-Mujahideen.

The head of the Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist organization Maulana Masood has also remained the General Secretary of Harkat-ul-Ansar. Terrorist Azhar was born in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, in 1968. Azhar was number 10 in eleven siblings. Azhar’s father was the headmaster at the government school. Her family used to do dairy business too.
Maulana Masood Azhar was educated in Jamia Uloom al-Islamia in Karay. Later Azhar joined the Harkat-ul-Ansar organization. For the first time Azhar was arrested in Srinagar on charges of involvement in terror activities in 1994.
Azhar was arrested in Pakistan after the attack on Indian Parliament in December 2001, but was released in 2002 on orders of the Lahore High Court.
After the assassination and abduction of American journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002, the US had sought the transfer of Azhar Masood. Masood’s ally, Sheikh Ahmed Saeed Omar, had killed Pearl. In 2003, he was banned even in the case of a suicide attack on Pervez Musharraf.
In December 2008, due to pressure from India and the United States, the Pakistan government had interned Masood in his house. Even before this Azhar was detained twice, although he was able to survive every time.

- January 15: Five Jism terrorists were stacked in an encounter by the army in the Gadro forest area of Keller area of south Kashmir. One of the killed militants was Jash Commander Mohammad Taib, who was from Pakistan Multan, while the other four were local terrorists.
- March 20 – A fidayeen attack was carried out in Army uniform on Rajbagh police station in Kathua district of Jammu division, in which three jawans were martyred. Apart from this, a local citizen also died in this. Two counter-terrorists were also stacked in response, while 10 people were injured in the attack.
- March 21 – Two militants attacked a army camp in Samba district of Jammu division. The security forces piled the two.

ISI’s plot to stand e-Mohammad

A senior official of the Security Agency reviewing the attack told Amar Ujala that ISI is re-creating Jaish as a new weapon due to international pressure on the Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. According to intelligence, there are definite clues given to Jaish’s hand in this attack.
