Social worker Anna Hazare on Sunday warned that if Narendra Modi-led central government does not fulfill its promises, then he will return his Padma Bhushan honor to the government. The 81-year-old Anna is sitting here on an indefinite hunger strike, which completes 5 days on Sunday. In the NDA alliance on Sunday, BJP’s ally Shiv Sena announced support for Anna Hazare’s demands. Shiv Sena appealed to Anna to follow the socialist leader Jayaprakash Narayan and take the leadership of the movement against corruption.
Anna Hazare started a hunger strike on Wednesday in his native village Ralegan Siddhi, located in Ahmednagar district. They demand that Lokpal and Lokayuktas should be appointed and submit a resolution letter on the issue of farmers. Anna said that the Modi government has broken the faith of the people.
