Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief K Chandrashekar Rao has made a significant move in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections by nominating Gaddam Srinivas to contest the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat against AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and BJP’s Madhavi Lata.
This decision comes as a surprise, as the BRS had been expected to ally with the AIMIM in the upcoming elections. With this nomination, the BRS has now declared candidates for all 17 Lok Sabha seats in the state, showing their determination and confidence in the upcoming elections. Gaddam Srinivas Yadav, known for being an arch rival of BJP MLA Raja Singh, has been a vocal opponent of him on numerous occasions. Despite expecting a ticket for the state Assembly polls for Goshamahal, Srinivas was not chosen and instead Nand Kishore Vyas was given the opportunity.
Srinivas joined BRS in 2021, after starting his political journey with the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) in 1988. This nomination not only solidifies BRS’s stance in the upcoming elections but also highlights their efforts to bring in experienced and strong candidates to represent their party.
