6lakh cyber crime happened five years ago from missing mobile number

Mirzapur: On February 1, a labourer resident of Ganghara Kala village under the Lalganj police station area received a notice of cybercrime from a mobile number of more than six lakhs from the Punjab Police. As soon as the notice was received, the whole family of the labourer got upset. In the year 2017, while returning from wages in Noida, the mobile went missing. The victim has appealed to the Superintendent of Police by giving an application.


Shankarlal, a resident of Ganghara Kala village, gave an application to the Superintendent of Police on Monday and told that in the year 2017, his mobile was lost while working as a security guard in Noida. On February 1, 2023, a notice has now been sent to him from the Cyber Cell of the Punjab Police. In the notice received, a cybercrime of Rs 6 lakh nine thousand 999 has been committed from that mobile number. A case has been registered against the victim under Section 420, 120B Bhadvi Police Station PS State Cyber Crime Press 4, SAS Nagar Punjab.


Describing himself as innocent, the victim labourer Shankarlal said that he has never seen in his life the amount of fraud he has been accused of. Describing himself as innocent in this, he has pleaded for justice.
