According to Emirates News Agency (WAM), the world’s first AC safety helmet, designed by Hyderabad-based technology and safety start-up Jarsh Safety, was unveiled at the India pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai during Telangana week.
On November 10, Dubai-based NIA Limited, in collaboration with Jarsh Safety, launched the AC Helmet, which uses patented solid-state cooling technology to provide cooling up to 24 degrees Celsius.
The Jarsh-NIA AC Helmet will be a game-changer for construction and outdoor workers in general, particularly in areas where summers are notoriously hot.
AC helmets, according to Kausthub Kaundinya, CEO of Jarsh Safety, increase productivity while ensuring the users’ safety and comfort. A rechargeable battery pack is pre-installed in these helmets.

The AC Safety Helmet will now be available in the UAE and throughout the region through the unparalleled distribution network of NIA Limited. It is powered by a rechargeable battery that requires no maintenance.
The launch of this product is part of the India Innovation Hub initiative, which will be featured in the Indian Pavilion at Expo 2020, which will feature the top 500 Indian startups.
