In the second shipment, 20 lakh corona vaccine came from India
A vaccine of 20 lakh corona came from the Seram Institute of India to prevent corona virus. At around 12:30 pm on Monday (February 22), India’s SpiceJet SG-0063 landed at the airport with a consignment of 2 million doses of the Covishield vaccine.
The second batch of corona virus resistant ticker (Covishield) is scheduled to be sent to the Drug Administration on Tuesday (February 23rd) for testing.
After unloading the second batch of Corona Vaccine (Covishield) from the flight, it will be taken from the airport in a special freezer covered van to the warehouse of Beximco Pharmaceuticals in Tongi.
Earlier, India gifted 2 million doses of Covina virus vaccine (Covishield) to Bangladesh. Then on January 25, 5 million doses of covishield vaccine (vaccine) were brought to Bangladesh in the first consignment under the management of Beximco Pharmaceuticals.
The vaccination program in Bangladesh was inaugurated on January 26 by giving the corona virus vaccine (Covishield) to nurse Runu Veronica Costa at Kurmitola General Hospital. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the virtual immunization program from Ganobhaban.
