Indian Navy rescues more than 192 people in Mozambique

Indian Navy rescues more than 192 people in storm-affected African countries Mozambique Apart from this, 1,381 people were treated in medical camps. At the request of Mozambique, the Indian government immediately sent three Navy ships to help. INS Sujata, ACGS Sarathi and INS Shardul provided humanitarian assistance to people in the hurricane-affected country with the help of Indian High Commission and local agencies.

On behalf of the ministry it was said that the Chetak helicopter of India is constantly using the helicopter in the air survey with the management officers. Another naval ship INS Magar has been transported to Mozambique with relief material. Apart from Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi have also been assisted. More than 700 people have died in this terrible storm in three African countries.
