India’s navratnas and its capabilities

In the ongoing 13th edition of AeroIndia fest Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bharat Electronics Limited,  Bharat Dynamics Limited, Department of Defense Priduction, Bharat Earth Movers Limited, Ordinance Factory Board besides an Ukrainian ordinance giant have participated in a big way as they have exhibited there State of the art capabilities at the Airforce hangars which are temporarily converted into exhibit area at the AeroIndia in Bangalore.

The Ordinance factory has displayed various types of Indian made handheld armaments including Kalashnikov. Similarly the BEML has showcased defense drones, while the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has showcased its enormous capabilities in aviation manufacturing sector in India including both the Military and Civilian applications.

It may be noted that Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has been in the forefront of Indian aviation sector for decades. It has made its presence felt in the production of critical components with a dedicated chain spread across the globe. HAL has demonstrated its capabilities in the production of world class flying machines for the Indian Airforce, Navy and the Army justifying its status of a Navratna company.

It is for the first time that virtual AeroIndia is also underway simultaneously in a Covid pendemic era, inaguration of the event besides massive development of armaments at the exhibits was an herculian task which was successfully implemented in closely knitted cooperation by the Union and State Government of Karnataka besides willingness by foreign players  wholeheartedly to make the event happen in Bangalore.

Currently working with Odisha Television limited for its news channel called Otv as Senior Correspondent from Bangalore. Served as HOD of Journalism at Al Ameen College in Bangalore was responsible for inducting Journalism through NAC approval and drafting of curriculum. Have worked on investigative reporting to the highly respected daily in United States the Washington Post from South India.
