Modi Government-2: 57 other ministers swear oath with PM, 21 new faces in cabinet

I Narendra Damodara Das Modi … with these words, on Thursday evening Narendra Modi took the oath of office for a second time. Narendra Damodardas Modi, who won huge public trust in the Lok Sabha elections, on Thursday evening, as Prime Minister, he made a grand start of his second innings. President Ramnath Kovind administered the oath of office and secrecy to Modi in a grand ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. A total of 58 members of the team including Modi were sworn in. BJP President Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, 24 Cabinet Minister, 24 Minister of State and 9 Minister of State (Independent Charge).

Sushma Swaraj and Maneka Gandhi, who were Foreign Minister in Modi’s first government, have not got place in the cabinet this time. At the same time, retired IFS officer S. Jaishankar, who was Foreign Secretary with Sushma, has been made Cabinet Minister. JD (U) and its alliance partner BJP have not joined the government.

After Modi, MP from Lucknow Rajnath Singh took oath. After this, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari and Sadanand Gowda took oath as the cabinet minister. Gowda took oath in office and confidentiality in English.

In the previous government, Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Leader of the Opposition LJP Ram Vilas Paswan, then Narendra Singh Tomar, who won from Patna Sahib and Ravi Shankar Prasad also took oath as the minister. After this Harsimrat Kaur Badal became the second leader of the second woman and the allies to take oath as the cabinet minister.

Thakur Chand Gehlot, the BJP’s main Dalit face and second time minister, also took oath As Cabinet Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Arjun Munda, Smriti Irani, Dr Harshvardhan, Prakash Javadekar, Piyush Goyal and Dharmendra Pradhan also took oath of office and secrecy. Apart from this, BJP president Mahendra Nath Pandey, Giriraj Singh, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Shiv Sena quota Arvind Sawant took oath as cabinet minister.

Former Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar has also been included in the Modi Cabinet. He is Foreign Secretary from January 2015 to January 2018. Joining Jaishankar in the cabinet is a shocking step for the Modi government.

At the same time, it is astonishing that the cabinet does not include Sushma Swaraj and Maneka Gandhi. Due to poor health, Sushma had also made distance from the election.

However, there was a lot of effort to convince Sushma on behalf of Modi. Maneka Gandhi, associated with the other important faction of the Gandhi family, was very important for the party at one time to cut the main Gandhi family.

Now the party has got a face in the form of Smriti Irani for the bribe of the main Gandhi family. After coming to power in 2014, Sushma was made Foreign Minister, while Maneka Gandhi was made Minister of Women and Child Welfare.

When President, seen in the role of Masterji, reforms made by ministers making mistakes in the oath

The President Ramnath Kovind twice appeared in the role of Masterji during the swearing-in ceremony of the new government in Rashtrapati Bhavan. During the oath taking, he hit the headlines of Mansukh Mandviya and Faggan Singh Kulaste and said that the minister should put me in his name.

After this, MP from Bihar asked Nithyanand Rai to stop interacting in the middle, and recite Rattan Lal Kataria to say ‘all kinds of people’ in the address of oath.
