More than 600 people detained over protests in Russia

In Moscow, more than 600 people have been detained in an unofficial protest against reports of police violence.

After standing in the local elections, several opposition candidates were disqualified after demonstrators gathered in the Russian capital.

Leading activist Hussev Sobol was arrested before reaching the rally, in which 1,500 people were involved.

Officials of the rally have been shown arresting the officials using their bat against the protesters.

Russian officials initially said that only 30 arrests and 350 were present.
