Private business house ICAAT has started air ambulance service from Bangalore using fixed wing aircrafts and helicopters as ambulances flying from Jakkur Aerodrome in Bangalore.
It may be noted that Bangalore has been in the forefront of adopting modern technology in every sector so as in making Bangalore as a hub to aerial ambulances too.
Keeping in mind the availability of spaces in helicopters and fixed wing aircrafts efforts have been taken to customize the stretchers and incubators besides fully equipped avionics as an air ambulance as per the available space in aircraft.
On the occasion flying captain Naveen spoke to Otv as a pilot who will be operating the air ambulance from Bangalore’s Jakkur Aerodrome.
The aircrafts were formally inducted as air ambulance in the presence of the Chief Minister B S Yedyurappa this afternoon.
