Ranjan Ghosh’s ‘Aha Re’ continues its good run at the international arena

Directed by Ranjan Ghosh, Bengali Film “Aha Re ” continues to perform well in the international festival arena. The film has been selected to showcase in the Singapore South Asian International Film Festival, 2019.

Speaking about the festival Mr.Ranjan Ghosh, Director of the Film said, “It feels good that our film is being noticed. We had put in a great effort as a team. Rituparna Sengupta had backed this film when it had no funder. All this feels like a dream and I, particularly, feel vindicated.”

The Singapore South Asian International Film Festival will be held its inaugural show in Singapore from August 30th to September 7th, 2019 at various venues and screened forty films from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka. The festival aims to gain a greater appreciation for South Asian culture and films.

Further welcoming all the dignitaries Mr.Srinivasan Narayan, Festival Director of Sg.SAIFF said, “It gives great honor for Singapore South Asian International Film Festival to have all these film personalities with us. We are looking forward to witnessing some great films at this festival.”

Launched in 2017, the festival serves as an opportunity for cultural interaction between South Asia and Singapore with numerous panel discussions, master classes, and other professional networking sessions.
