The film stars Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles
Actor Sekhar Kammula is back to what he does best – making films with a strong emotional basis and rooted characters. After the success of Fidaa and abandoning his project with a bunch of newcomers mid-way, he has begun work on his next. The shooting of the film that stars Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi has officially taken off. At a puja that was held on location, the director and the two leads were present alongside producer Sunil Das K. Narang, FDC Chairman P. Ram Mohan Rao, Bharat Narang, co-producer Vijay Bhaskar, distributors Sadanand and Sreedhar.
Sunil Narang had handed over the script to Sekhar Kammula amid the presence of the director’s father Seshayya, distributor Sadanand on the sets. To be presented by Amigos Creations, the film is being produced under Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP by Narayan Das K.Narang and P. Ram Mohan Rao. The shooting of the musical love story began with a combination sequence featuring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi.
Talking about the project, Sekhar Kammula had added, “This is the love story of two individuals who travel to a city from their hometown to pursue their dreams. Naga Chaitanya has been learning the Telangana dialect with quite a lot of interest. His role will be the highlight of the film. Sai Pallavi’s performance will be another bonus to the project. And my films always are strong in terms of musical sense and that will be the same with this one too, with compositions by Pavan, a student from A.R. Rahman’s music school.”
