Hyderabad : In the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Delhi liquor scam case, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter K. Kavita will inquire. The CBI has summoned him for questioning on 06 December.
Kavita is also a member of the Legislative Council of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. The Bureau has issued notice to Kavita under Section-160 of the Code of Criminal Procedure asking her to inform about a suitable place for questioning as per convenience on December 06 at 11 am.
Kavita has sent her reply to the notice. He said the officials could meet him at his Hyderabad residence. In the notice sent to Kavita, the CBI has said- ‘Some facts have come to the fore during the investigation, which you may be aware of. That’s why it is necessary to inquire about such facts in the interest of investigation.
It is noteworthy that Kavita’s name has figured in the remand report filed by the Enforcement Directorate in a Delhi court in connection with the alleged bribery scam. After this he had said that he is ready to face any investigation.
