The bride gets 51000 rupees when the groom takes a selfie in the toilet

No selfie in loo, no wedding! In Madhya Pradesh, under the ‘Chief Minister Kanya Vivah / Nikah Yojana’, applicants want to get married and be eligible to get Rs 51,000 under the bride-to-be scheme.

According to the government scheme, brides from the economically backward classes of the state are eligible to receive Rs 51,000, provided they prove that the groom’s house has a toilet before the wedding. And for this, the groom has been made mandatory to click a selfie while standing in the toilet at his residence.

The initiative aims to ensure the availability of toilets in every household.
The objective of this initiative is to ensure that toilets are constructed in every household in the state.
