Woman who entered Sabarimala attacked by in law

Kanaka Durga , one among the 2 woman who entered Sabarimala Temple on 1st January triggering violent protests across the State by Sangh Parivar activists, was attacked by her relative-in-law after she reached home at Perinthalmanna on Tuesday morning.

Ms. Hindu Durga alleged that she was hit on her head with a wood reaper as she stepped into her house for the primary time once her Sabarimala entry. a number of policemen who were on duty before of her house hurried her to the govt Taluk Hospital, Perinthalmanna. Sub-Inspector P.S. Manjitlal aforesaid a case was registered against Ms. Durga’s in-law. He aforesaid the injury wasn’t serious.

Ms. Durga’s family was against her getting into Sabarimala. She had stayed far from her house for many weeks thanks to the family’s opposition to her policy.
