SEC officials conducts raids at BRS MLA Marri Janardhan Reddy’s residence

Hyderabad: State Election Commission officials conducted raids at former BRS MLA Marri Janardhan Reddy residence on Friday.

The Election Flying Squad reached the former MLA’s residence at around 11 a.m., while he and his supporters were engaged in an informal chat at the gate.

As nearly 100 police personnel gathered at the spot. In the search, nothing unaccounted for was detected, the squad continued with the formalities.

BRS leaders objected to the conduct of the police personnel and raised slogans against them. They later displayed vests and briefs, claiming these were the only items found in the house.
