TATA IPL 2025: Hat-trick wins For MI ;Defeats CSK by 9wickets

In an exhilarating IPL 2025 clash, the Mumbai Indians secured their third consecutive victory by defeating the Chennai Super Kings by 9 wickets at Wankhede Stadium. After losing the toss, Chennai batted first, posting 176 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Shivam Dube contributed 50 runs off 32 balls, while Ravindra Jadeja scored an unbeaten 53 off 35 balls. Youngster Ayush Mhatre also added 32 runs from 15 balls. For Mumbai, Jasprit Bumrah was effective with 2 wickets, supported by Deepak Chahar, Ashwin Kumar, and Mitchell Santner with one wicket each.

Mumbai started strong in their chase, with Ryan Rickelton and Rohit Sharma forming a 63-run partnership before Rickelton was dismissed for 24. Rohit then anchored the innings, scoring an unbeaten 76 from 33 balls, while Suryakumar Yadav contributed 68 not out, both men dominating the Chennai bowlers. The match concluded in the 16th over with Mumbai finishing at 177 runs for just one wicket, avenging their previous defeat to Chennai.
