Weather update: Telugu States predicts dry weather for next three days

Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather update for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, forecasting mainly dry conditions across both states over the next few days due to prevailing wind patterns.

According to the department, northeasterly and easterly winds are influencing weather conditions in Andhra Pradesh, resulting in largely dry weather. The forecast indicates that North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh are expected to experience dry conditions on Thursday and Friday, with the possibility of fog at isolated locations during early morning hours. Similar weather conditions are likely to continue on Saturday.

In Telangana, meteorological officials said lower-level winds are currently blowing from the southeast direction, which is also contributing to stable and dry weather conditions. The state is expected to witness dry weather from Thursday to Saturday, with no significant rainfall activity predicted during this period.

Weather experts noted that such wind patterns are typical during seasonal transition periods and generally lead to clear skies and stable atmospheric conditions. However, they also advised people to remain cautious during early morning hours due to the possibility of fog in some areas, which may affect visibility.

The Meteorological Department has not issued any major weather warnings for the two states for the coming days. Officials said they will continue to monitor atmospheric conditions and issue updates if there are any significant changes. Meanwhile, residents have been advised to stay updated with official forecasts, particularly travellers and commuters who may be affected by early morning fog conditions.
