Hyderabad: The Balapur Ganesh procession will commence only in the afternoon. Balapur Ganesh is expected to cross the Charminar monument only after 1 pm. Meanwhile, small idols moved across the Charminar in the morning.
Police have made elaborate security arrangements by deploying around 29,000 police personnel for smooth conduct of the procession.
Senior officials are monitoring the procession from the command and control centre at the ICCC Building at Banjara Hills. The anti sabotage teams conducted checks at important places in the city.
