Hyderabad: Brazilian woman died under suspicious circumstances at her apartment at Nizampet in Bachupally on Saturday.
According to police, the woman was identified as Oliveira dos Santos Lucia Glide alias Lucia Godes Choubey 57-year-old, currently residing at Villa No. 79, Green Avenues in Nizampet.
Lucia, who was suffering from several chronic health problems, is said to be suffering from diseases like diabetes, stomach cancer, thyroid problems and dust-related asthma.
According to neighbour’s complaint , Lucia was found lying unconscious on the bed. She was immediately shifted to the hospital, where the doctor declared her dead.
Lucia came to India in 2012 after marrying Sunil Choubey from Odisha. They separated in 2015. After that, she continued to live in India. Police booked a case and are investigating.
