Hyderabad: BRS MLC K Kavitha met Sigachi industry blast injured victims at private hospital in Patancheru on Tuesday.
In a visit, she criticized State government for its negligence, she called out the laxity in conducting frequent inspections and ensuring safety measures in hazardous industries.
Kavitha demanded an ex gratia of Rs 1 crore for families of the deceased and also urged the government to immediately release funds through the green channel for the treatment of the injured.
She also demanded an urgent safety audit of all industrial units, stating that some minor workers were suspected of having been employed at the industry.
