Hyderabad: Monthly salaries for government school teachers and other government employees are set to increase in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation ( GHMC) jurisdiction.
With new boundaries recently coming into effect, government employees are now eligible for a revised House Rent Allowance (HRA) and City Compensatory Allowance (CCA).
Previously, employees working within eight kilometres of the GHMC boundary were given 13 percent HRA. In some peripheral areas, they also received 11 percent HRA. Under the expanded GHMC limits, they are now eligible for an HRA rate of 24 percent, applicable to the corporation limits.
