Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation ( GHMC)Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi and Commissioner R.V. Karnan distributed the eco-friendly clay Ganesh idols at the GHMC Head Office on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion mayor said, celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with clay idols is devotion to both Lord Ganesha and Nature. GHMC is also providing eco-friendly clay pots and diyas made from recycled materials ,she added.
GHMC is also making Immersion arrangements and encouraging citizens to join in eco-friendly festivities.
