Heat waves in Hyderabad record over 40 degrees C

Hyderabad: Heat wave conditions in Hyderabad has increased more than 40 degrees Celsius on Sunday and Monday.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD)-Hyderabad has urged the general public to be very cautious and take precautions during this heat wave.

According to the reports, the average maximum temperature of 42.6 degrees C was recorded in the Balanagar area followed by 42.3 degrees Celsius in the Uppal area.

At Nampally the average maximum temperature recorded was 41.4 degrees C while at Amberpet, the temperature recorded was 41.2 degrees Celsius.

The average maximum temperatures at Amberpet, Asifnagar, Kukatpally, Quthbullapur, Shaikpet, Marredpally, Rajendranagar, Ramachandrapuram (Patancheru), Serilingampally, Golconda, Musheerabad, Charminar, Bahadurpura, Saroornagar and Hayathnagar ranged between 41 degree Celsius and 40 degree Celsius.
