Hyderabad: Students from Osmania University campus staged protest against state government varsity circular banning protests on campus.
Police entered the Arts College building and arrested at least five ABVP student activists. The videos of the arrests were widely circulated.
The police also arrested several Joint Action Committee leaders for taking out a rally from the Arts College demanding immediate withdrawal of circular.
