Flat start in stock market, Sensex rises 102 points

New Delhi : The stock market started flat on Wednesday, the third trading day of the week. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex is trading at a level of 60,259.85 with a gain of 102.13 points, or 0.17 per cent. Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) is also trending at the level of 17,759.90 with a gain of 37.60 points i.e. 0.21 per cent.

During the trading, out of 30 shares of Sensex, 12 shares are seen rising and 18 shares are declining. All 10 stocks of Adani Group are showing a boom during the early trade in the market. The stock of Adani Enterprises is trading above 2.23 per cent. At the same time, the shares of Adani Transmission and Green Energy have gained 3-3 per cent.

It is noteworthy that a day earlier on Tuesday, both the major indices of the stock market had closed with gains. The BSE Sensex closed at 60,157.72 with a gain of 311.21 points, or 0.52 per cent. At the same time, NSE’s Nifty also closed at 17,722.30 with a gain of 98.25 points, or 0.56 percent.
