He is now running as an independent candidate for Mayor of London and is expected to be a front-runner. His main goal is to ensure that London remains the leading global city and that all its citizens, regardless of income, feel safe, secure, and empowered with opportunities for growth.
Mr. Ghulati strongly believes that there is much more that can be done for low- and middle-income households across the city. He is passionate about improving the wellbeing and living standards of all Londoners and has unique ideas to level up the city. He envisions a London where everyone is happy, optimistic, proud, and full of renewed energy and enthusiasm.
Mr Ghulati announced his candidature for the 2024 London Mayor elections from his birthplace, India, and plans to strengthen the bond between London and other nations that have a significant diaspora living in the city. He believes that cities like Hyderabad, with their global and culturally rich atmosphere, are the perfect place to kickstart his campaign. He aims to meet with business leaders and government officials across India to garner support for his vision of a thriving and inclusive London.
