In the 14th match of IPL 2025, Gujarat Titans triumphed over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 8 wickets at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.Jos Buttler’s impressive unbeaten 73 runs propelled Gujarat towards victory while chasing RCB’s target of 170.
The Titans began their innings slowly, losing captain Shubman Gill for 14 runs. Sai Sudharsan then formed a crucial partnership of 75 runs with Buttler before being dismissed for 49. Sherfane Rutherford contributed 30 runs, ensuring Gujarat’s win alongside Buttler.
For RCB, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood each took one wicket. Earlier, RCB, after losing the toss, struggled initially with early wickets from Virat Kohli (7 runs) and Devdutt Padikkal (4 runs). Phil Salt (14) and captain Rajat Patidar (12) also fell early.
However, Liam Livingstone’s 54 runs and Jitesh Sharma’s 33 helped stabilize their innings, with Tim David later scoring 32 runs, resulting in RCB finishing with 169 runs. For Gujarat, Mohammed Siraj took three wickets.
