ACB officials caught Shahinayathgunj Inspector for accepting bribe

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught Shahinayathgunj police station Inspector for demanding bribe.

The inspector named as L.Balu Chowhan, demanded bribe of Rs 1.5 lakh from the complainant for deleting his name as a suspect in a missing case registered at the Shahinayathgunj PS and not to harass him further.

The complainant had after requests promised to give Rs 50,000 bribe. On specific information ACB officials raided PS and seized 50,000 amount.
