Anganwadi workers and nurses protest against transfers

Hyderabad : Senior faculty in district teaching hospitals, doctors, ANMs, Anganwadi workers and nurses were unhappy with transfers implemented by the state government.

General transfers in the state health department have continued to create unrest and resentment among health care workers from every cadre in teaching and non-teaching hospitals across Telangana.

On Friday evening, Several nurses questioned authorities at the DME office in Koti. Government nurses from different teaching and non-teaching hospitals of Telangana, who were attending counselling at the Office of Directorate of Public Health, Koti, protested over the way the general transfers.
