Assembly elections: Process of making panel of BJP candidates starts

Ahmedabad : The Bharatiya Janata Party has started the process of becoming a candidate for the assembly elections in a democratic manner from Thursday. Any worker can present his claim in front of the inspectors sent by the state unit of the party.

In fact, the state leadership has divided the entire state into four parts and has sent a team of party inspectors, who will meet the interested workers who have claimed candidature across the state from October 27 to 29 and would like to know from them how they Better than other candidates. Teams of party inspectors have reached their respective areas to meet the claimants and to know the intention of the local organization. It will be decided only on the report of the inspectors whether the present MLAs will repeat or the party will field a new face.

State BJP has divided the state into four regions namely Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Jamnagar. On the basis of this, inspectors have been fixed for all the assembly seats. The inspectors will meet the officials, claimants and local workers and evaluate the situation and give their report to the State Parliamentary Board and later it will be discussed in the Central Parliamentary Board.

In this sequence, the process of candidate selection was started from Thursday in 12 assembly seats of Surat. Inspector Zaveri Thakkar, Satish Patel, Jyoti Pandya, Health Minister Rishikesh Patel, Rajkot MP Rambhai Mokaria and Bijalben Patel were present in the city office at Udhna at 10 am. The process of hearing the claimants for two assembly seats simultaneously was started in two different halls in the city office Kamalam. Contenders arrived for Udhna and Varachha from 10 am. At the same time, the process of candidate selection will be started for Majura and Karanj from 2 pm and from 5.30 pm for Chaurasi and Katargam seats. This started the movement of the morning workers.

In the 7 assembly seats of Mahesana district, BJP inspectors will know the side of the candidates for the candidature in a phased manner. People’s mind will be searched for all the assembly seats including Mahesana, Unjha, Kadi, Kheralu, Visnagar, Vijapur and Bahucharaji. On behalf of the state, three inspectors will meet the workers at the BJP office in Mehsana.

In Gir Somnath district, the process of making a panel for the selection of assembly candidates by the BJP will be completed on October 27 and 28. In Veraval, within two days, the panel will be formed for the probable candidates for the four assembly seats. On Thursday, for Una, Talala seat, while Kodinar on 28 in the morning, Somnath assembly seat in the afternoon will know the side of the defenders. Vinod Mordia, Hasmukh Hindoya, Varsha Doshi will be present as inspectors.

For the four assembly seats of Navsari district, the side of the contenders for Gandevi and Jalalpore seats will be known on Thursday. Minister Arjun Singh Chouhan will be present as Inspector. Cabinet minister Naresh Patel is currently the MLA from Gandevi assembly seat. At the same time, RC Patel, who is winning the Jalalpore seat for five consecutive terms, is the MLA. On Friday, the inspectors will know the opinion of the contenders in Navsari and Congress stronghold Vansda seat. Congress’s tribal leader Anant Patel is the MLA on Vansda.

The process of taking senses in Kutch was started on Thursday at a private hotel in Bhuj. The process of selecting candidates will be done by the BJP on total 6 seats in Abdasa seat of Kutch, Mandvi-Mundra seat, Bhuj, Anjar, Gandhidham and Rapar.

For nine seats in Banaskantha, the inspectors will listen to the party leaders for two days. On Thursday, Danta, Tharad, Vav, Dhanera and Palanpur seats will be contested. On Friday, people will be heard for Vadgam, Deesa, Deodar, Kankrej. State’s deputy chief Jayanti Kavadia, MP Jaswant Bhabhor, former MP Jayari Ben Patel will meet the people. Apart from this, Gordhan Jhadfia, Harshad Vasava, Jayaben Thakkar as inspectors for four seats of Patan, a team of three inspectors will consult the local officials and workers. For the Patan, Chanasma, Sidhpur, Radhanpur assembly seats, the candidates will be heard at the BJP office in Patan.
