BRS demands congress government to answer about urea shortage

Hyderabad: BRS party MLAs on Friday demanded Congress government to give an explanation on urea shortage in the state.

In the Assembly session, BRS leaders moved an adjournment motion. They pointed to severe difficulties faced by farmers due to non-availability of urea and alleged failure of both the State and Central governments to ensure adequate stocks during the crucial Yasangi (Rabi) season.

MLA KT Rama Rao, along with MLAs Gangula Kamalakar and Dr K Sanjay, urged Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar to set aside the listed agenda and allow a short discussion on the issue.
