Hyderabad: Huzurabad BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy was injured in police attack while staging a protest demanding the immediate release of funds for Dalit Bandhu beneficiaries.
The protest saw a large turnout of beneficiaries, resulting in a police lathi charge that left several injured and requiring hospital treatment, while Kaushik Reddy was admitted to hospital with injuries.
The police action against MLA Kaushik Reddy was condemned as inhumane and questioning the delay in Dalit Bandhu assistance should not result in such harsh treatment.
