Hyderabad: An electricity transformer exploded at Malakpet – Saidabad road on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the officials, fire started in the transformer located on the road near Officer’s Mess function hall allegedly due to overload.
The local police stopped the traffic on the busy road for a while. People scared with this incident and fire officials from Malakpet fire station rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
