New Delhi : The GOADH Foundation is set to unveil a major initiative against female foeticide tomorrow, marking an important step toward raising national awareness on the protection and empowerment of the girl child. The programme will be held on December 2, 2025, at the prestigious Dr. B.R. Ambedkar International Center, Janpath, New Delhi, from 4 pm onwards.
The event is expected to bring together an influential gathering of leaders, policymakers, and social activists. Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education, Government of India, will attend as the Chief Guest, while Mamta Mohanta, MP, Rajya Sabha, will join as the Special Guest. The initiative is being led by the foundation’s Founder, Ambassador for Peace Dr. Mohd Nizamuddin, who has long championed causes related to women’s rights and community welfare.
A strong panel of Guests of Honour will also grace the occasion, including Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, National Co-Incharge (Tamil Nadu & Karnataka), BJP; leading social activist Yogita Bhayana; Indrani Sarkar, Senior Journalist & Philanthro-Activist; P. Balram Naik, MP (Lok Sabha); Dhullu Mahto, MP (Dhanbad); Prof. Dr. Gita Singh, Director, Delhi University; noted entrepreneur Ashlesha Reddy; and Kali Charan Singh, MP (Chatra). Multiple NGOs and social organisations are also scheduled to participate, adding further strength to the movement.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Venkata K Ganjam, General Secretary of the GOADH Foundation, said the initiative will focus on community outreach, educational programmes, and awareness campaigns. “Our goal is to encourage families and communities to stand firmly against female foeticide and ensure every girl child receives the respect and opportunities she deserves,” he said.
