All 15 police stations in the zone participated in the drive. Around 30 teams comprising nearly 300 police personnel were deployed during the operation.

Police verified 90 identified rowdy sheeters and conducted house searches, including at residences of accused persons linked to the Rein Bazaar Massi murder case. Searches were aimed at detecting illegal weapons such as knives, crime-related material, and prohibited substances including ganja and other intoxicants.

Officials stated that continuous cordon-and-search operations, day-and-night surveillance, counselling of rowdy sheeters and binding-over proceedings against habitual offenders are being conducted regularly.

Police warned that strict legal action would be taken against violators, including fines ranging from ₹25,000 to ₹1,00,000 and imprisonment wherever applicable.

DCP Kiran Khare reiterated that the Charminar Police are following a zero-tolerance policy against rowdyism and appealed to the public to cooperate and share information about criminal or anti-social activities to ensure safety in the area.
