Hyderabad: A private junior college student died allegedly after an accidental fall from the hostel building on Tuesday late night.
According to the police, The student named as Shiva Kumar Reddy (17), a native of Railway Kodur in Kadapa of Andhra Pradesh was studying intermediate second year in the college and stayed in the hostel on the same campus.
When Shiva Kumar, tried to leave the hostel with his friends the incident occurred. Students attempted to climb down using the window grills. Unfortunately, Shiva Kumar Reddy, who was the first to jump from the hostel building, lost his grip and fell from the fifth floor of the building.
Shiva’s friends informed the hostel warden and they found Shiva critically injured. “He was shifted to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him dead,” officials added.
The body was shifted to the hospital for autopsy.
