Officials seized Rs. 3.71 crore worth gold in the city

Hyderabad: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence Officials arrested Three people for transporting smuggled gold and seized Rs. 3.71 crore worth gold.

Acting on information, officials stopped a car, that was on its way to the city from Coimbatore. On checking, it was found they were carrying foreign origin smuggled gold.

The gold along with the vehicle were seized and the three persons are remanded to Judicial Custody. Further investigation is in progress.
