30 ITBP personnel deployed in the security of Kedarnath Dham

Guptkashi (Uttarakhand): 30 ITBP personnel have been deployed for the security of Kedarnath Dham. These soldiers will be present in Kedarnath Dham till 30th April. Ajayendra Ajay, president of the Badri Kedar Temple Committee, gave this information. Guptkashi Deputy Superintendent of Police Vimal Rawat has confirmed the deployment of 30 ITBP personnel in Dham.

Ajayendra Ajay told that this year a record 16 lakh pilgrims have visited Baba. The sanctum sanctorum has been decorated with gold. Therefore, before the closure of the doors, a letter was written to the Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand demanding the deployment of ITBP personnel for the security of the Dham. 30 jawans will guard the three gates of the temple and Kedarpuri during the entire winter. Along with ITBP jawans, 20 police personnel are also deployed in the Dham.

Chairman of Badri-Kedar Temple Committee, Ajendra Ajay said that this year the sanctum sanctorum of Kedarnath temple has been made golden. To strengthen the security arrangements, a letter was written to the Chief Secretary of the state before the doors were closed. He told that at present works are going on in Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham under the master plan and a large number of labourers are living there. In such a situation, due to continuous movement, ITBP jawans have been deployed. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rawat, the helipad at Kedarnath will remain in active mode for 24 hours.
