Hyderabad: In connection with online betting and gambling apps case, film actress Nidhhi Agerwal, television presenter Sreemukhi and Instagrammer Amrutha Chowdhary appeared before the Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Friday.
Officials questioned for over an hour regarding their alleged involvement in endorsing betting platforms.
Officials sought details about the payments they had received, the number of companies they had promoted and the individuals or agencies that had approached them for the endorsements. The case, which involves several film celebrities accused of promoting illegal betting apps.
