TATA IPL 2025: DC beats RCB by 6 Wickets

Delhi Capitals secured a six-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) with an impressive unbeaten partnership of over 100 runs between KL Rahul and Tristan Stubbs. The match, held at Chinnaswamy Stadium, saw RCB post 163 runs after losing 7 wickets.

Delhi chased down this target in 17.5 overs, losing 4 wickets along the way. The Capitals started poorly, losing four wickets for just 58 runs, with early dismissals including Faf du Plessis (2 runs), Jack Fraser-McGurk (7 runs), Abhishek Porel (7 runs), and captain Axar Patel (15 runs).

However, KL Rahul and Tristan Stubbs turned the game around with a crucial fifth-wicket partnership of 111 runs. KL Rahul finished unbeaten at 93 runs off 53 balls, while Stubbs contributed 38 runs.

  1. RCB began their innings aggressively but suffered a batting collapse, despite Tim David’s efforts to stabilize the innings with 37 runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and others performed well for Delhi in the bowling department.
