TTD takes extra safety measures near Alipiri footpath

Hyderabad: To protect the  pilgrims from wild cats, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is taking extra safety measures near Alipiri footpath.

The TTD increased security from 2.5 km stretch to the seventh mile of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple. Officials placed more security staff on the path, and rubbish will be cleared regularly to avoid attracting animals.

Teams from the Forest, Revenue, Panchayat Raj, Health, and Vigilance departments are working together with the State Forest department to keep the area safe.

TTD also asked help from the Wildlife Institute of India and the State Forest department to create effective plans for the future. Officials warned shopkeepers not to sell food that might attract wild animals.
