Mirzapur : In order to save the children from the infection of stomach worms, a de-worming campaign will be conducted in the district from February 10 to 15 by the Health Department.
Additional Chief Medical Officer and Nodal Officer BN Yadav said on Saturday that during this period children and adolescent girls up to 19 years of age will be given Albendazole, a medicine for stomach worms. For this, about 11 lakh children have been identified in the entire district and are being identified now.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rajendra Prasad Gupta said that this campaign is being run twice a year for the last few years.
