Hyderabad: On the occasion of Sankranti festival, Telangana Tourism department is hosting the hot air balloon festival from January 16 to 18. As many as 15 international standard hot air balloons from European countries, with foreign pilots, will take part in the festival.
The passengers are expected to travel around 10 kms, which is likely to take about 40 minutes. The corporation identified three locations – Hyderabad Golf Club, Jalamandali Park near Gandipet and another area near Himayatsagar – to offer services to passengers.
