Hyderabad: UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Friday said the Congress carven out Telangana state, tho’ it had to pay a political pay for it.
Sonia Gandhi was on her 1st visit to Telangana once it came into being as a separate state in 2014.
She was apparently touching on the drubbing Congress AP state in Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in 2014.
Sonia Gandi was addressing a huge public meeting at Medchal close to Hyderabad to formally start off the campaign of People’s Front headed by the Congress for successive month’s elections to Telangana Assembly.
The Congress Supremo projected herself as the ‘mother of Telangana’ and said that she is feeling happy to be in Telangana as same as a mother would feel happy to see her kid after several days.
Stating that elections are a chance for individuals to urge eliminate this tough state of affairs, she appealed to individuals to use the facility of a vote to show TRS a lesson and produce Congress and its allies to power with a large majority.

Recalling that Telangana was achieved on the shibboleth of “water, funds, and jobs”, she alleged that TRS did not live up to the expectations of individuals.
Stating that farmers were nevertheless to urge water for irrigation, she said their suicides were continued. Gandhi same the youth were still looking ahead to jobs.
