CRPF Constable Dismissed from Service for Concealing Information Related to Pakistani Wife

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Constable (General Duty) Munir Ahmed has been dismissed from service with immediate effect for concealing information related to his Pakistani wife.

Constable Munir Ahmed of the 41st Battalion of CRPF has been dismissed for intentionally concealing his marriage to a Pakistani citizen and for harboring her beyond the validity of her visa. His actions have been deemed a violation of service conduct and detrimental to national security.

Posted in Jammu, CRPF personnel Munir Ahmed had conducted a Nikah (Islamic marriage) with Minal Khan from Pakistan online last May. She had come to India on a short-term visa, which expired on March 22. Meenal had applied for a long-term visa.

Meanwhile, following a terrorist incident in Pahalgam, all Pakistani citizens residing in India had their visas canceled. Meenal was required to leave India by April 29. However, the Jammu and Kashmir High Court granted her interim relief, allowing her to return to Jammu.

Upon the revelation of the case, CRPF conducted a preliminary investigation and based on its findings, action was taken today.
