Dhami government assigns responsibilities to 18 leaders

Late Friday night, the Dhami government released its second list of responsibilities, appointing 18 additional officials to various councils, commissions, and committees under the BJP. This follows the first list issued on April 1, which assigned duties to 20 leaders.

Key appointments include Balveer Ghuniyaal as Vice-Chairman of the Herbal Advisory Committee, Surendra Mogha for the Uttarakhand Animal Welfare Board, and Subhash Barthwal for the State Construction Movement Honoring Council. Other notable positions include Puneet Mittal for Urban Environmental Protection, Dr. Jaipal for Higher Education Enhancement, and Geetaram Gaud for the Tribal Advisory Council.

Additionally, Geeta Rawat has been appointed Chairperson of the State-Level Vigilance Committee, while Shankar Koranga will serve as Vice-Chairman of the Water Conservation Council. Maheshwar Singh Mahra and Sardar Manjit Singh have also received significant roles in the Tea Development and Sugarcane Development councils, respectively.
