Hyderabad : In Hyderabad, during Diwali celebrations 47 people sustained injuries. 47 people, including 20 children, were went for treatment to the hospital on Monday night.
According to Afreen Khader, Assistant Professor at Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, 18 people came to the hospital with grievous injuries while others had sustained minor injuries. While some sustained injuries while bursting firecrackers, others were hit by the crackers lit close to them.
Doctors have advised people to take all precautions while bursting crackers to protect themselves from injury.
